Where is the Nature Center located?

The Nature Center is located near the US Coast Guard Training Center on Delaware Avenue in the City of Cape May.

From the Garden State Parkway: continue south after the traffic light at milepost 0 on Route 109S. Cross 2 bridges into the City. After the 2nd bridge, make the 1st left onto Sidney St. At the stop, turn left, go approx. 10o yards and take the first right onto Texas Ave. Go about ½ mile to Delaware Ave. and turn left. Delaware is the street before the blinking light.

The Nature Center of Cape May is one of the New Jersey Audubon Society's centers. NCCM highlights the diversity of Cape May Harbor's wildlife and its surrounding habitats. In addition to our aquaria featuring local marine life, our theme gardens are utilized as models for backyard habitats.

Interactive displays, games, activities and programs round off the center's features. The center's Nature Store and Resource Center contains a variety of children's books and toys, teacher resources, and extraordinary gifts focused on extending your outdoor experience and enriching your memories of your visit to Cape May.

Admission to the Nature Center is FREE and there is plenty of parking.
